E-cuteness

Catching up here and finally putting up some pictures of little E and the crew.

E and I decided to pick one of big sisters flowers and display some cuteness. This little one is talking up a storm these days, problem is no one can understand a word she says, but it is cute.

This is what I like to call a perfect shot. She looks a little like one of the puppets from The Dark Crystal.

Ready to rumble....

Here we are seeing the two personalities coming out. AK is focused and probably calculating the radius and speed to come up with the G-force being exerted on her body. IM on the other hand is working the ride for all it is worth and eying the turn with hands up to get the biggest thrill.

Now we see where IM get his thrill seeking desire from. GO MOM! AK again with both hands on and focused. Love it.

Now this is my kind of ride baby, the swing, although I did have to keep my eyes on specific areas or else I was going to loose my lunch.

Deere Indiana crew, we apologize for the Ford pictures and in the future we will try to abstain from the needless antagonizing and shameless advertisement of said company. Sincerely The Editor in Chief of Muddington News

Sorry about it again but it is pretty awesome. I was sporting the JD hat as you can see in a previous picture if that is any consolation.

The youtube search has brought up this newest bit for entertainment of the masses.

Shock and awe

We went to the air show this year and it was amazing. The Canadian Snowbirds, the Blue Angels, and the joint forces exercise.
The Canadians went first and it was pretty cool, 9 jets flying in formation and all that. The 3000 foot heart they made out of smoke from the jets was a little weird as this was an all day demonstration of fire power and aerial awesomeness. The can't we all just get along heart was just out of place.
The Blue Angels went last and they were supposed to be the grand finale. Don't get me wrong, the Blue Angels were amazing, but the joint force exercise just plane old blasted fancy flying out of the air (so many puns, so little time).
F-22 Raptors doing fly by and pyro-tech crews simulating bomb drops, think fire and smoke and think detonations and multiply it by a lot. After the F-22's laid out a set of bombing runs the armored vehicles moved in across the tarmac leap frogging positions and letting bursts from their 50 caliber guns go in intermittent gunfire. Don't forget the Raptors are circling the entire time and "dropping bombs." After the armored trucks were in position two Chinook helicopters came on down and landed about thirty or so troops who immediately started moving in on the "enemy" firing their m-16's. Don't forget the Raptors. A simulated medical lift was put in play and two more helicopters came on down and picked up the wounded. After the position was secured the whole scenario was reversed and the last to leave the area was the Raptors who dropped a few more bombs just for good measure.
After that it was kind of like oh look the Blue Angels are flying close to each other in a pretty formation. Well here are a few pics from the day.

The day started out a little rainy but it cleared as the day progressed.

IM with his ground crew game face on, he looks like he is going to try and get an F-22 to park in front of him.

Let the bombing begin....

and a little strafing wall of fire...

time for the troops with a little overhead cover...

tandem landing... it was unreal how fast these landed and spilled so many troops.

This one is for Uncle G, GOMARINES, they flew their Harrier at the show. That is one seriously ugly plane, in an awesome way of course, no frills patchwork of steel, it pretty much hovered over the crowd and just glared at all of us as if to say you just lost.

"I got this pop" That is how I read this look from IM

I love the couple standing there smiling at the boys.

Good seats for the Blue Angel show.

The boys in blue...

more formations...

On our way out, good timing too, see the clouds moving in in the background.
The you tube video pretty much sums up how much fun we had this day.

Aready??

I am sitting here and trying to think about this summer and how we pretty much were never home and what exactly happened. It is the end of August and the leaves are changing a bit the sun has finally decided to show up after a solid month of rain and my daughter is singing and dancing in the "front room" to this years Christmas play. Yes the Christmas play, already, in August. Oh well...We are doing well and there is nothing really super exciting going on around here. I am still trying to catch the Muddington News readers up to speed with our photo journal of this summer so here you go.

Fornia G-ma loving on the little blue eyed blond haired Armenian, and little E loving every moment.

The Uncle and IM loving the pool in CA.

Upon return to Ak I took a few friends out in PWS for a fishing and shrimping trip which included exactly one sunny day and an extra night on the sound due to bad weather and big waves.

Here was the sunny day, hard to beat it when it is calm.

The one that got away day, so many nibbles only one hook up. It was a pretty night though, I am thinking it was about 10:30 pm here.

Well now that our lives are not being lived out of a bag and we are at home and school is in full swing maybe our Muddington readers will not have to wait so long for the next issue.

Time warp, June 6

IM had b-day number 5 on the same day as the Eagle River Tri and we spent most of the day watching the girls dominate. Here is AK in her first triathlon.

Two lengths of the back stroke and she was out of the water.

Mom ran to the T1 with the AK super focused.

T1 going smoothly . Skort, shoes, helmet, optional jacket.

And she is off, chopper bars and white tires is what makes this girl so fast. Two mile bike out and back, she was killin' it on the hills.

T2 drop the bike and head out for the 1/2 mile run (in which she developed a side stitch and still wasn't convinced to quit, she gets an atta girl, "atta girl")

Here they are at the finish, nice job AK. Oh yeah and C as well, she dominated on her new bike.
After we went to pizza and began the IM 5 birthday.

The happy 5 year old is FINALLY going to get his prwesents.

Bat man and the Batmobile, AK is obviously pretty excited about that, and IM is looking like he has already got plans for the stopping of bad guys.

Here is a nice item that has the entire house on edge. A nerf bow that actually shoots up to a 100 feet. Put it this way our house is about 60 feet long and IM has taken to stealth shots, that is 40 feet of unannounced kinetic energy being absorbed by my back. He is actually a pretty patient boy and will wait for hours for the perfect kill shot, well maybe not hours.

AK and I agreed it was a pretty awesome day overall. Next year she wants to do the race again when her age group is allowed to go twice the distance.

I still enjoy putting up these videos and watching them. It is way too fun, so here youtube go.

Retro Fit

Computer is back and so are we. Here it comes, extra extra read all about it. It has been fun to see everyone's summer progressing and here comes a little Muddington summer insanity. Enjoy...
Kickin' it off with a b-day for ole' E. Two years old on May 28.
Hats compliments of big sis.

Pop teaching the kid what b-days are all about, tearing paper. Funny how quickly she learned that one.

Modeling the new shades and dress.

Sweet cars that roll on their own.

Cowgirl up.

The video is an AK production and shows the lengths she has to go to get her actors to perform. I can only imagine what E is going to be like when she can fend for herself .
