Been a long time.

Hey there readers we are here still in Muddington and have been livin the life. Lots has gone on since our last post but I won't bore you with the details. Take it for granted that awesomeness has been the norm around here. I will just start up here with a few pictures and clever quips on my my part and you all can just sit back and enjoy.

Sweet dreams Ole'E

Tuesday Night Race series was a blast and AK and IM started going out on their own and really racing. IM went out hard and mom was left behind. As mom picked up the pace she was unable to find the little man and she was getting a little worried as the race went on and on and not a sighting of IM. Finally at the end of a 3k trail run he was sighted by the mom and as she came up from behind he shouted no no no mom I wanted to be really far in front of you at which point C had to slow down so that he could retain his dignity and finish in front of his mom.

Finally a beautiful day, I got home from the construction site and we followed mom to her running group and went to a little playground and goofed off for and hour or so. Basically until two of the three announced bodily movements were imminent and, of course no bathrooms in sight.

In other news...
The new Skinny Raven (our local running shoe store)on Diamond ave. has a mini track outside ,19 laps equal 1 mile, and you can try your running shoes on and then step outside and jog a bit to try the fit. AK, IM and EI were into it. The older two were dashing and resting over and over again, Ol'E brought her little arms up pointed her toes out a bit and did a successive 8 laps with no breaks. The kid has distance in her blood at three, love it.

3 and 10

It's been birthdays all around here. The girls come first, 3 then 10. AK is now double digit and Ole E was 3 one day and then 4 the next and then 5 the next. I am "off" work, the art room is closed and have been in construction mode and to sit around for a day with the girls on their birthdays has been such a treat.

IM was on the war path recently and it was a bit frightening around here for a bit. It always kind of shocks me when he goes into the whole Attila mode.

It had to happen

Well it has been awhile, I was just dusting off the cobwebs of the old bloggo here and decided I have been a taker in the blogosphere (can't believe i just used that word). I am going to try for a little more frequency here. We at Muddington appreciate your patience and long lasting support, sincerely M

It is a beautiful thing.

Well here is a quick update on the kid pics. AK was nowhere to be found but I should be getting some of her soon. Here you go.

EI decided to fall flat on her face at the coffee shop and give herself two black eyes, just like her old dad.

We still think she is beautiful.


IM has been in the Northern Lights swim club, learning to swim, and the pool is the coldest in the city. They heat it on Thursday night after his lessons, so Tuesday it is kinda chilly and by Thursday it is ridiculous. When the heater broke a couple of weeks ago, with no one noticing of course, even some of the kids who compete in races were a little teary eyed from the cold water. Coach has let IM and any other learn to swim student use a wetsuit as they aren't generating enough heat from working out. IM is like me, we wouldn't survive very long in cold water. We ordered three suits online to make sure we got a good fit, EI wanted to try one on before we sent the other two back. Now we solved that problem another one has popped up. IM's poop clock is set for exactly 10 minutes before class is over. I swear the last month and a half he is dropping a deuce at 4:50pm. Good grief kid. I even had him go before the class one time and still it didn't work. Oh the memories this kid is creating.
